In today’s busy world, women often take care of everybody else before themselves. St. Mary’s Health Center is offering a free community event where women can learn more about their own well-being.
St. Mary’s will host the fifth annual Women’s Health Institute: A Celebration of Women for Women on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the St. Mary’s Health Center Assembly Hall.
Healthcare professionals will be providing information about a wide range of issues on breast health, from early detection to treatment side effects, survivability and emotional coping. Presentations will be given by Dr. A. Zshvetta Jones, family physician, Dr. Monika Prost, radiologist, Dr. Denise Tritz, pathologist, Dr. James Allen, radiation oncologist, Goldschmidt Center, Dr. Jonathan Roberts, surgeon, and Dr. Laurel Kramer, psychologist.
Mammograms can also be scheduled during the event.
This event is free and open to the public. No reservations required. For more information, call Janet Field at (573) 761-7172.
